Right at the foot of the majestic mountains of the Southern Drakensberg, Underberg is a little town that exudes a lot of charm. In fact, it has the kind of ethereal beauty that can only come from looming mountains, lush greenery, and the endless blue of African skies. This part of KZN is supremely tranquil, but also offers so much in the way of trails and outdoors adventures.
Underberg is small but is a popular tourist town, thanks to its natural beauty, its own generous offering of things to do and see, and its ideal position in the heart of KZN. This is a stunning destination for nature-lovers and anyone that wants to experience the healing and restorative effects of the outdoors. And, during South African winters (which officially extend from June to August), Underberg and the mountains around are laden in a magical snow duvet.

What we loved most about 25 Hazyview was the peaceful atmosphere, the stunning mountain views, and the spacious, comfortable accommodation. The property was clean, well-equipped, and perfect for spending quality time together as a family. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the patio, taking in the beautiful surroundings, and having plenty of space for both adults and children to unwind. It was the ideal base for a memorable Drakensberg getaway.
