Hippo Hills accommodates 10 guests in 5 private en-suite bedrooms. The house has a fully equipped, open-plan kitchen with stove, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The spacious dining area and lounge have a Satellite TV with DStv PVR so you never have to miss the game. All this opens up to a beautiful veranda with patio table and braai/barbeque area and an inviting infinity pool.

All you need do is relax in front of the pool’s crystal clear water, or put your feet up with a good book on the special viewing deck. You’re spoiled by the swaying riverine vegetation in front of the house – a natural habitat for elephant, buffalo, hippo, leopard and an abundance of buck.

The top floor has three large bedrooms; one with king bed and two with twin beds. These lead to a large viewing deck and bar area where visitors can enjoy a sunset drink while watching a variety of bird and animal life.

The ground floor has two more bedrooms; one double and one twin bedroom. Both have their own bathrooms (one includes a washing machine and tumble dryer so bring along your detergent if you plan on doing laundry).

All the rooms enjoy air conditioning, a ceiling fan and an en-suite bathroom. An exceptional view of the Crocodile River from each and every bedroom makes for incredible African memories.

Housekeeping is available to service the house throughout your stay, barring Sundays and public holidays.

Ngwenya Lodge is situated on the southern boundary of one of the biggest and best-known wildlife sanctuaries in the world - the Kruger National Park. Ngwenya Lodge is literally on the banks of the Crocodile River, overlooking the game fence of the Kruger National Park, which passes behind Ngwenya.

This effectively incorporates the Resort into the greater game area and guests have every opportunity to see all the species, Big Five included, which occur in the game-rich south-eastern section of the Kruger Park, without even having to leave the Resort.
