Vilanculos is often referred to as the \"The big Island\" - although being part of the mainland this fast growing resort town situated approx. 750 kilometres North of Maputo offers visitors beautiful flowing beaches and blue azure waters.

Casa Cabana Beach is situated more or less in the middle of Vilanculos bay offering an excellent vantage point looking out towards the Islands of the Bazaruto archipelago and fantastic views are assured.We are situated 60 meters from a renowned beach restaurant/bar, alternatively guests may choose to hire a chef to prepare meals.

We offer free airport transfers as well as a complimentary transfer service within the Vilanculos environs for guests wanting to visit restaurants or do some shopping.The house, which is available for stays, is rated by many to be the most beautiful in Vilankulos. Up a flight of stairs to the wide flowing deck where you can pause and admire the magnificent views. The house has been built with a Mexican flavour in mind, with high concrete ceilings, two en-suite bedrooms, a lounge which houses a handmade pool table and adjoins to a fully-equipped kitchen.

The master bedroom has a magnificent four poster, extra length four poster king size bed with open-plan bathroom and a tub that is big enough for four. Entrance to the room is guarded by a 2.5 meter high, carved Moroccon-style double door. Alcoves abound with examples of the best indigenous artwork that can be found in Mozambique.

The second bedroom is similarly decorated with an en-suite shower. Both rooms have air-conditioning and bedding as previously described. The main bedroom has DStv. The house has its own private pool, which is sheilded from the rest of the property. A maximum of six can be accommodated with extra beds placed in the lounge.

Activities that can be arranged include diving, fishing, snorkelling, water para-sailing, horse riding, camel rides and dhow trips to the islands.
