Mjejane 5 Bedroom Luxury River Lodge IJS1

A magnificent river front luxury lodge that accommodates ten guests in five private bedrooms. Every bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with an additional outside shower. The bedrooms are all fully air conditioned and each has an individual patio overlooking the Crocodile River. A long entrance passage opens up to a large entertainment area which includes a bar, lounge and dining room where guests can enjoy a sunset drink while watching a variety of bird and animal life. The entertainment area further extends onto an enormous patio with an infinity pool, boma and braai / barbeque where many a bush story has been shared.

Some of the features include air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout, Satellite TV (DSTV PVR), complimentary WiFi throughout, a fully equipped kitchen (gas stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer) and a stylish modern bar (ice machine and drinks fridge). The open plan dining room and lounge is adjacent to an expansive entertainment area comprising of a bar, table tennis / pool table, and in front of a beautiful infinity pool deck which includes a fire pit and built-in braai / barbeque.

Bedrooms boast high ceilings with fans and air-conditioning to ensure degree-perfect comfort for afternoon naps or long uninterrupted sleep. Three of the bedrooms have king-sized beds and the other two have twin beds. Each bedroom has its own private full bathroom with an an indoor shower and separate bath tub, as well as an outdoor shower and private terrace overlooking the river.

The house is serviced daily (excluding Sundays and South African public holidays) and exclusive safari game drives are available with the private game ranger, Muntu at an additional charge:

Approximately 4.5 hours drive from Gauteng and a mere 45 minutes from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, the reserve is a stones throw from six well known golf courses, including Leopard Creek.

Activity Rates (subject to change)

Game drives are R2000 per drive for up to 10 guests.

Bush walks are R150 per person (minimum 4 guests).

Kruger Park Reserve entry can be bought off Wildcard.co.za.

Securing a reservation

A 50% deposit secures the reservation. The balance is due 60 days ahead of check-in date.

Confirmation to occupy will be issued only on receipt of full payment as per standard South African tourism terms.

Cancellations and refunds

Up to 60 days ahead of occupation date – 50% of deposit refunded.

30 to 59 days ahead of occupation date – No refund applicable.
