Mjejane Game Reserve is a +-4000 hectare Big Five Game Reserve, which is enclosed within the famous Kruger National Park, one of the world’s last unspoiled wilderness frontiers. Direct access to the Kruger National Park via a low water bridge is one of the main attractions of Mjejane (note however that currently the Bridge is temporarily closed, and visitors needs to access Kruger though Crocodile Bridge or Malelane Gate). Mjejane offers the guest unspoiled indigenous bush and over 10km of Crocodile River Frontage, allowing for out of the ordinary game viewing sightings by means of open safari game drive vehicles. Mjejane is also a perfect stop over for guests wanting to combine a bush and coast holiday, with the Mozambiquen border a short 50km from the entrance gate. Prominent Golf Courses at Leopard Creek, Komati Poort and Malelane are within a 20 minutes drive from the reserve.
Please note that quests visiting Mjejane can only view game through accredited Game Drive Companies and visitors are not allowed to travers the Game Reserve in their private vehicles as is the case in the Kruger National Park. It is therefore essential that Game Drives are booked well in advance (game drive costs are R250.00 per person).
